Dripping Monster Doorway arch
Turn your front entrance into the gaping, fanged mouth of a giant monster. Using large sheets of insulation foam board or thick cardboard, sketch and cut out giant, jagged teeth, angry yellow eyes, and a dripping tongue. Paint these pieces with outdoor acrylic paints, using bright greens, purples, and deep reds to make the monster features pop against your home’s exterior.
Mount the teeth and eyes around your front door frame using damage-free outdoor mounting tape. For an extra layer of sensory terror, hang long strips of green and black crepe paper or tattered cheesecloth from the top of the door frame, forcing trick-or-treaters to walk through the “drool” of the beast to reach your doorbell. This high-impact, welcoming display makes your house the highlight of the neighborhood block.
