Creepy Cardboard Window Silhouettes
Make your home look like it has been overrun by monsters, killers, or ghosts with striking window silhouettes. Draw large, dramatic shapes onto large sheets of black poster board or cardboard. Classic designs include a classic slasher villain holding a knife, giant spiders, swarms of bats, or a witch stirring a bubbling cauldron. Cut these shapes out carefully using scissors or a craft knife.
Tape the silhouettes directly to the inside of your window panes. Close your sheer white curtains or blinds behind them, and leave the lights on in those rooms. From the outside, the bright interior lights will cast sharp, terrifying black shadows against the glowing windows, creating a cinematic and creepy narrative for anyone walking by your house.
