7. The Lakeside Christmas Cabin
Build right on the edge of a frozen lake and the whole place changes. The ice catches the light, the cabin reflects in it, and everything feels calm and wide open.
Use packed ice for the shore, a little wooden dock, and a boat tied up for the story of it. Inside, face the big windows toward the water so you wake up to that view. Sea lanterns under the ice give the lake a soft glow at night, which is honestly prettier than any decoration I could hang.
