16. Rock Jack-O’-Lanterns
Collect smooth, flat river rocks during an outdoor walk and turn them into a collection of everlasting jack-o’-lanterns. Paint the rocks in various shades of orange, yellow, and green. Once the base coat is dry, children can use black paint pens or permanent markers to draw different facial expressions on their rocks—happy, spooky, silly, or surprised.
