9. Reclaimed Window Frame Mirror with Leaves & LED Tea Lights

6
Idea & How-to:
Find a reclaimed window frame or mirror with aged panes (you can remove the glass if you like) and lay it flat on your table. Around the frame edges place faux or real fall leaves, acorns, and moss. Inside the frame (or in the hollow) scatter low LED tea lights for subtle glow.
Why it works vintage: Window panes evoke eras gone by; seeing your table through the frame adds visual depth and character. The contrast of leaf and light makes it cozy and inviting.
DIY tips: Clean the frame but keep patina. Use battery-powered LED tea lights for safety. Choose leaves in deep rust, olive, and gold for a vintage palette.
Color palette: Weathered wood/paint of the frame, olive and rust leaves, warm white lights.
Height: Very low (~2–4″), creating a “window” effect rather than a tall centrepiece.
