19. Creepy-Cute Crochet Ghost Plushie
If you know how to crochet (or are willing to learn amigurumi, the Japanese art of crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures), a handmade ghost plushie is an incredibly sweet and comforting gift. It is soft, squishy, and serves as a cute companion for his bed, couch, or car dashboard, reminding him of your warmth and creativity.
Using super bulky, velvet-textured white yarn, crochet a simple, rounded ghost shape. The velvet yarn makes the plushie incredibly soft and huggable. Before closing up the bottom of the ghost and stuffing it with polyester fiberfill, secure two black plastic safety eyes to the front of the face. You can also use pink yarn to stitch tiny, blushing cheeks just below the eyes. Once stuffed, crochet a flat, circular base and sew it to the bottom of the ghost to close it. You can even crochet a tiny orange pumpkin or a little black top hat and sew it to the ghost’s head for an extra dose of adorable personality.
