12. Mirror-Emerging Half-Ghosts
Create a heart-stopping optical illusion with ghosts that appear to be emerging directly out of your hallway mirrors. To achieve this effect, craft a flat-backed ghost by draping stiffened cheesecloth over a halved foam ball and a wire arm frame, keeping the backside completely flat. Use suction cups or damage-free adhesive strips to mount the flat side directly onto the glass surface of your mirror. When viewed from the front, it looks as though a spirit is stepping through the portal of the mirror into your living room, creating a truly memorable jump-scare effect.
