Overgrown Fairy Ring Sinkhole
In traditional folklore, a fairy ring is a naturally occurring circle of mushrooms associated with magical sprites. This design takes that concept and scales it up into a massive sunken landscape feature. Dig a perfectly circular sunken basin in the middle of an old-growth forest. Along the top rim of the crater, construct a giant circle of oversized red and white amanita mushrooms made from red mushroom blocks, mushroom stems, and smooth quartz.
As you move down into the sunken center of the fairy ring, the earth becomes lush and overgrown with tall grass, ferns, flowers of every color, and mossy boulders. The bottom of the sinkhole holds a pristine, shallow pond filled with lily pads, glow lichen, and light blue water. The natural circular framing directs the eye straight down into the magical oasis, creating a timeless classic fairy build.
