15. Gothic Cathedral Botanical Sanctuary

15

Combine high architectural drama with natural beauty in a Gothic Cathedral Greenhouse. Featuring towering pointed arches, flying buttresses built of deepslate and stone bricks, and vaulted ceilings, this build brings a solemn, reverent atmosphere to your crop production. Stained glass windows crafted from magenta, pink, and rose glass stretch stories high, casting colorful sacred patterns across the stone floor.

The central nave of the cathedral replaces traditional pews with long, neatly organized rows of crops, illuminated by high-hanging chandeliers made of iron bars and lanterns. Where the altar would traditionally sit, a massive cherry tree rises, its roots wrapping around an ornate stone podium housing an enchantment table or brewing station. High above, clerestory windows vent the high ceiling, letting light flood down into the transept garden spaces.

Sound and space play major roles in this design. The tall verticality provides ample space for tall-growing crops like bamboo and kelp columns while leaving room for floating particle effects from spore blossoms to drift down lazily. This design turns daily farming chores into a grand, majestic experience fit for a base’s central cathedral hub.
