16. Whimsical Scarecrow Mason Jars
Bring the charm of the harvest season indoors with a whimsical scarecrow jar. Paint the body of the jar a warm, sunny yellow or a soft burlap brown. Use acrylic paints to draw on stitched patches, rosy cheeks, and a triangle nose. To create his hat, wrap a piece of actual burlap or a small straw hat around the lid of the jar, securing it with hot glue. Add some raffia or straw spilling out from under the hat to look like hair. This friendly character is perfect for transitioning your decor from early September all the way through Thanksgiving.
