20. Victorian Birdcage Shadow Lamps
Bring a touch of classic Edgar Allan Poe horror to your home with a Victorian birdcage shadow lamp. Take an ornamental metal birdcage and paint it in a distressed matte black. Inside, place a realistic faux raven perched on a branch, surrounded by fake autumn leaves and cobwebs. Thread a string of warm, amber fairy lights through the bottom of the cage, wrapping them around the raven and the bars. The cage bars cast dramatic, prison-like shadows, while the glowing raven looks poised to utter a haunting “nevermore” into the autumn night.
