19. The Pomegranate and Brass Candelabra Array
Capture the opulent feel of a Dutch Still Life painting by combining rich, jewel-toned fruits with classic vintage metalwork. This project centers on an array of antique brass candelabras or mixed brass candlesticks of varying heights set in a dense cluster along the center of the table. Outfit the holders with long, slender taper candles in warm hues like cinnamon, burnt orange, or deep cream.
Around the base of the candelabras, scatter fresh whole pomegranates, some cut open to reveal their glittering, ruby-like seeds. Intermingle dark purple figs, clusters of red seedless grapes, and dark green bay leaves directly on the bare tabletop or over a linen runner. The combination of dripping candlelight, gleaming brass patina, and glistening, rich fruit creates a lavish, sensory-rich display that feels warm, celebratory, and endlessly romantic.
