5. Grinchy Candlelight Lanterns
Idea & Styling
Use glass lanterns (tabletop or floor) and inside each place a matte green pillar candle or LED candle. Around the candle, wrap delicate copper wire with tiny red beads or mini ornaments. On the glass, hand-paint (or apply decals) subtle Grinch motifs: a face silhouette, curly lines, or the words “Stink. Stank. Stunk.” Etch or frost the glass lightly so the light diffuses softly.
Why it works
Candlelight adds warmth. The combination of green + red + warm light feels festive. The lanterns act as ambient accents throughout corners or entryways.
Styling tip
Place lanterns at staggered heights (floor, console, side table). Use candle holders with mirror or metallic bases to reflect the glow.
